SUMMARY
Having completed our Cotswold Racing Review we have to rate them as Top Tipster Service. It’s a well established service with a strong track record of making consistent profit.
Cotswold advise tips on UK and Irish horse racing. Selections and prices are readily available. They average 2 tips per day.
Over the last 3 years, the service has returned a profit of over 433 points at Advised Prices. Even more impressive, they’ve made 558 points to Betfair Starting Price (BSP).
Quoting Profit in Points can be meaningless if a service advise tips as 5 or 10 point bets. However, Cotswold tips are typically 0.5 points each way and across all tips the average is 1.2 points per bet.
It’s a very easy service to follow. A text advises members when the daily email is sent. The tips are also available on the Tipsters Empire website. There’s NO need to track down short-lived prices at obscure bookies.
Following Cotswold Racing couldn’t be any easier. Advised Prices are readily available when tips are sent out and not dependent on just one stand out available price. With regular profits made at Betfair SP, a member just needs a couple of minutes to place their bets before racing starts.
Every tip has a detailed write up and post race summaries are sent via email. This is a service run by a seasoned horse racing expert. That passion shines through in the daily email advices.
Any Issues?
Surely there’s a catch you ask? Well, the Cost reflects the quality of the service and £45 per month is certainly not at the cheaper end. Also, there’s no free trial available. So if you do decide to try out Cotswold Racing you’ll need to commit to at least one month’s subscription.

Overall though, I’m really impressed with the service from Cotswold Racing. Anyone looking to join an easy to follow, consistently profitable tipster should check out their service.

Tipster Platform
Cotswold Racing is on the Tipsters Empire platform. Tipsters Empire is well established and, at the time of writing, has 6 tipster services.
4 of the services, including Cotswold Racing, have been on Tipsters Empire for over 2 years. The other 2 were added during 2022. Tipsters Empire’s approach is ‘Quality over Quantity’. A new tipster has to undergo a 3-6 month trial before being considered for joining the portfolio.
The Tipsters Empire portfolio is currently very much horse racing based with 5 racing and one golf tipster.
All past results are available showing the individual selections, advised prices, points staked and result. Results are based on £10 stakes per point with Monthly Profits, Strike Rate, Tips per Day, ROI and average odds recorded.
Cotswold Racing is unique on Tipsters Empire in showing results to advised Prices plus Betfair Starting Price (BSP). Not only that, the results at BSP are more profitable than at Advised Prices!
Tipsters Empire offers Individual Subscriptions for each service but also a Full Portfolio option.
Free or Paid (Cost) / Trial period / Money Back Guarantee
Cotswold Racing is a paid service. There is no free trial available and a Monthly subscription costs £45 so it’s not the cheapest service out there. A Quarterly subscription costs £120, 6 Months is £200 and Annual costs £350.
So there’s a Monthly cost of £45 and an average monthly profit of 15 points at BSP. On average, first £3 profit of each Point bet will be covering your subscription and the rest will be your profit.
For most people that means there should be good profit to be made. However, if you typically bet to say £2 a point then Cotswold Racing won’t be for you.

Profits to Level Stakes (LSP) / Monthly & Annual / Betfair SP?
Cotswold Racing results are based on a £10 stake for each point. The most common bet is 0.5 points each way (1 point in total) and it’s rare for more than 1 point to be staked
Advised Odds
At Advised Odds, Cotswold Racing has made 433 points in the 3 years from February 2020. That’s an average of 148 points per annum or 12+ points per month. Returns were:-
- 2020 = +48 points
- 2021 = +216 points
- 2022 = +163 points
Betfair SP (BSP)
Betting at Betfair SP, Cotswold has made 558 points in the last 3 years (commission of 2% deducted). That’s an average monthly profit of 15 points. So there’s complete transparency in these results and they should be available to all. Returns were:-
- 2020 = +0.3 points
- 2021 = +343 points
- 2022 = +212 points
During 2022, there were 2 losing months with the highest monthly loss 8.3 points. There were no losing months during 2021. With great profits to be made at BSP, you shouldn’t have any problems getting your stakes on (unless you’re a real High Roller!)
The level of consistent results to BSP is really impressive and very rare!

Timing / How are Tips Sent? / Price availability / Early Prices required?
Cotswold Racing tips are sent via email with a text also sent alerting you when they are available. Tips are usually sent before 10am on raceday but can also be issued the night before. There is plenty of time to get your bets on. That’s true whether you are backing to Advised Prices with a bookie or via BSP.
The bets are also published on the Tipsters Empire website so you shouldn’t have any problem accessing them.
All tips are accompanied with a detailed write-up and a review of the day’s tips is posted after the event.
The Advised Prices are generally available and tips include details of best bookies and where extra place offers are available. Of course, with performance so strong at BSP, there isn’t the reliance on getting Advised Prices as with most services.

Back or Lay tips / Number of selections
The majority of tips are Back Each Way bets. Some tips are Win only – there are roughly 2 Each Way bets for each Win only tip.
From time to time, Ante Post bets are given for major festivals such as Cheltenham.
There’s an average of 2 tips advised per day. However, there may be times when there are a few blank days in a row and then 5 or 6 tips on a Saturday.
Bookies advised / Betting Exchanges
The tips advised by Cotswold Racing aren’t usually dependent on specific bookies. Where better prices or enhanced place terms are available they will be flagged but results reflect readily available prices. Where this happens, the main advised bookies are Bet365, SkyBet and William Hill.
Strike Rate / Average Odds / Yield / Consistency
The All Time Strike Rate for Cotswold Racing is 31.19%. This rate reflects the fact most tips are Each Way and also helps smooth the bank growth while limiting losses.
Average Odds are 10.5/1. The Yield/Return on Investment (ROI) is 14.6% to Advised Prices and 18.8% to BSP. Both great returns.
